March 12-20

Initial mail invite to respond to census.

March 26 - April 3

Reminder postcard sent out. 

April 8 - 16 

Reminder letter and paper questionnaire sent out.

August 11th - October 31st 

Enumerators will begin knocking on doors of households that have not complete the application after this date.  

September 30th

Last day to self respond online, by mail, or phone . 

April 30th 2021

Delivery of appropriate counts to the president.

The 2020 Census is crucial for all of us to participate and use our civic duty that has been mandated in the U.S. Constitution. It has taken place since 1790 and every 10 years from then on and has helped our communities gain funding for its expansion and benefit. A complete and accurate count is essential for the distribution of $675 billion dollars for the finding of clinics, hospitals, schools, and roads. It is also about representation, based on our responses and the complete count we receive redrawing of legislative districts that determine the total number of seats each state will incur within the U.S. House of Representatives. Your responses are Confidential and protected by U.S. Federal Law. The Census can be completed online, by phone, or by mail.
